Holy Week is by far the most important week of the Christian year. During Holy Week we not only remember the time that Jesus spent in Jerusalem—from the joy of his triumphal entry on Sunday to the horror of his crucifixion on Friday—but also prepare ourselves for the surprisingly good news of Easter. It is a week filled with contrasts, and one that needs to be observed. We will be offering the following services to better your worship during this pivotal week.
Hear about the entry of Jesus into the city of Jerusalem at one of our two services at 8:30am or 11:00am, Sunday, March 20th.
Join us in remembering the Last Supper on Thursday, March 24th at 7pm.
Then on Good Friday, March 25th there will be a community Stations of the Cross that will begin at St. Gerald’s Lakeside Chapel and end at Trinity starting at noon. Then later at 7pm we will hold a service in which we remember Jesus’ arrest through his death on the cross.
Finally, come and celebrate with us as we hear the good news of Jesus Christ’s resurrection on Easter Sunday, March 27th at one of our regular service times; Early Service at 8:30am, or Late Service at 11:00am.
